Give remote property teams context for the next decision

Last updated:

For property managers, owners, and authorized maintenance teams

Bring a remote manager or owner into a property conversation while an authorized person is on location. With live panoramic video, each guest can look around independently as the host explains visible turnover or maintenance questions. Use the call to coordinate next steps while keeping resident privacy and formal inspection requirements separate.

30 trial participant-minutes. No credit card required to start.

CallPano setup with an Insta360 camera, a panoramic video meeting, AR glasses, and a VR headset

One live environment. Independent views. Each participant chooses where to look, without changing anyone else’s view.

A maintenance photo often leaves the surrounding question unanswered

A close-up may show a damaged cabinet without explaining where it sits or how the adjacent area is affected. Repeated requests for another angle can slow a discussion between an owner, manager, and contractor. A live panorama provides surrounding context, while close-up evidence and specialist assessment remain necessary for details it cannot resolve.

Discuss move-in and move-out priorities

Walk through accessible rooms with the authorized tenant, manager, or remote owner to discuss visible turnover work. Keep agreed condition notes and required evidence in your existing records; the call does not decide deposit disputes.

Orient the maintenance team

Show where an issue sits within the property and ask the on-site person for another safe viewpoint when context is missing.

Coordinate invited reviewers

Use guest links for authorized owners or contractors in a supported browser, without requiring them to install an app or create an account.

Preserve the existing work-order process

Keep issue descriptions, photographs, approvals, assignments, and completion evidence in your property management system rather than assuming the call creates them.

The Difference

Access permission comes before camera access

Use a compatible Insta360 X4 or X5 setup that supplies full equirectangular camera output to the browser, not a cropped or reframed flat feed. Verify firmware, USB mode, computer, browser, audio, and connection quality before the visit. Follow applicable notice, entry, and consent requirements and coordinate with residents before sharing an occupied property. A panoramic view can reveal personal belongings and documents behind the host. Exclude private material and limit invitations appropriately. The call does not determine habitability, diagnose hidden defects, or replace required inspections or specialist checks. Adapt the property walkthrough checklist to your authorized visit and read the Security overview.

Quick Start

From room to live 360° in three steps

  1. 1

    Create a Room

Create your host account and set up a room from the dashboard. Schedule your meeting if you want to arrange it in advance.

  2. 2

    Share the Link

Send the invitation to your participants. Guests use a supported browser without a CallPano account or app download. Test permissions and room access before the session.

  3. 3

    Go Live in 360°

Test an Insta360 X4 or X5 through a compatible webcam mode that supplies full panoramic output, not just a flat webcam feed. Camera firmware, computer, and browser compatibility matter. Once the panorama is working, guests can look around independently.

Frequently asked questions

Can we use this for an occupied rental?

Only after addressing applicable entry, notice, permission, and privacy requirements. Coordinate with residents and avoid exposing people, documents, or belongings that should not be shared.

Does a call produce a formal condition report?

This workflow does not promise an inspection report or recording archive. Keep required condition records, photos, approvals, and follow-up in your established property management process.

Can a contractor diagnose every maintenance issue remotely?

No. A panorama cannot reveal concealed conditions or replace measurements, tests, and specialist examination. Use the call for context and arrange an appropriate on-site check where needed.

Can the owner and contractor look in different directions?

Yes. Each guest controls their own view within the shared live panorama. To see a different physical location or an obscured area, the authorized on-site host must reposition safely.

Does this integrate with our work-order system?

This workflow does not establish a property management integration. Use your existing system for work orders and records, and use CallPano for the live visual discussion.
