360° Video Meetings

A Zoom alternative when the whole space matters

Last updated:

For teams that need more than a webcam’s framing

A flat video call works for faces and screens. When the conversation is about a property, site, or physical space, CallPano lets every participant explore a shared live 360° view independently — with standard webcam calls available too.

30 trial participant-minutes. No credit card required to start.

CallPano setup with an Insta360 camera, a panoramic video meeting, AR glasses, and a VR headset

One live environment. Independent views. Each participant chooses where to look, without changing anyone else’s view.

Remote participants do not have to be passive observers

In a conventional walkthrough call, everyone follows the camera operator’s frame. If one person asks to look left, everyone looks left. CallPano adds independent panoramic viewing to the meeting, so participants can follow their own questions without choosing the view for the entire group.

Keep everyday webcam calls

Use a standard webcam for regular video meetings, with chat, screen sharing, and mid-call device switching. No 360° camera is needed for standard calls.

Add a shared panorama

Use an Insta360 X4 or X5 through a compatible webcam mode that provides full panoramic output, not just a flat webcam feed. Verify camera mode, firmware, computer, and browser compatibility before the session.

Choose optional headset viewing

Meta Quest browser viewing can offer optional WebXR and head tracking where supported. No native Quest app is provided. AR display and motion controls also depend on the connected device and browser.

Plan meetings and bring people together

Use scheduling and invite links for your team and guests. CallPano supports up to 50 participants, depending on your plan.

The Difference

Choose the tool for the conversation

Zoom and Teams are familiar choices for conventional meetings. CallPano is an alternative when the physical environment is part of the discussion: keep two-way video conversation and add an independently controlled panoramic view, with optional VR and AR viewing.

Different tools, different views

Evaluate your actual meeting requirements and each vendor's current documentation. This is not a verified feature-by-feature ranking.

Everyday collaboration

Consider calendar workflows, account requirements, administration, and the features your team already relies on.

Camera output

Test whether your setup supplies full panoramic output rather than a flat or cropped webcam feed.

Viewer interaction

Check that each guest can use the viewing controls needed for the discussion, on their actual browser and device.

CallPano

Evaluate a separate room for two-way conversation with independent live panoramic views. Optional headset modes depend on device and browser support.

Frequently asked questions

How is CallPano different from Zoom or Teams?

CallPano combines standard webcam calls with live 360° panoramic meetings and optional VR/AR viewing. In panoramic mode, each participant independently controls their view of the shared live environment instead of watching only the host’s framing.

Can I still use chat, screen sharing, and a normal webcam?

Yes. CallPano supports standard webcam calls, in-call chat, screen sharing, mid-call device switching, and meeting scheduling. A 360° camera is only needed when you want to host panoramic video.

How should I evaluate other meeting and camera products?

Check each vendor's current documentation and test your actual setup. Camera framing, interactive panorama rendering, broadcasting, and two-way conversation are different requirements. This page is not a verified feature matrix.

How many participants can join, and do guests need an account?

CallPano supports up to 50 participants depending on the plan. Guests can join through an invite link in a modern browser without an app download or a CallPano account. See Pricing for plan limits.
